@raininthesouth That's how China's cheap version of takeover. The KMT welcomes Ma's previously stalled ECFA to allow Chinese permanent residency in Taiwan. It's easier for them to convert to Taiwan's citizenship and they will eventually became a force to China's influence in everything about Taiwan. That's really the cheapest way instead of costly China's military invasion.

The 3rd option is not sure whether near green nor near blue. It tried to be join the blue but walked out because it did not want the 2nd position. So, it seems for their own interest and not the country.
