@waynegore5291 You are assuming. Not a single article that state Taiwan is a province/territory of China.

You fail to mention Taiwan itself and not China's ROC government only. Before the coming of ROC refugees from China in 1949, Taiwan was already Japanized after 50 years being one country with Japan. After the end of world war II, Taiwan was freed and gained outright independence from Japan after the 1951 treaty. That was the basis of status quo.

@waynegore5291 repeating a claim without a single proof is insisting a lie to turn true. Adding insult doesnt help, it does expose the lie.

@fanghe-z1j You wrongly quoted fromMainland affairs council. That's not the constitution. The original 1947 Nanjing constitution cannot be altered. Search and learn.

@fanghe-z1j Consensus did not exist as confirmed by Taiwan ex-president Lee. It was merely verbal talk and because KMT and CCP did not agree the one-China interpretation so there was no consensus. MaYinJiu was Xi's yes man and his own party disowned for talking against the party and the candidate policy goal. Taiwanese called him a traitor and his support is less than 5% same support with China's one-sided unification by force.

@fanghe-z1j Let it be factual as evidence. So you proved that a)1947 Nanjing constitution was for China only as Taiwan was a Japanese country since 1895 until 1951 peace treaty. b) There was no written 1992 consensus because it's CCP's propaganda claim and KMT verbal counter claim of different interpretation. If no agreement then there was no consensus. Facts don't lie.

@fanghe-z1j Taiwanese people are still reconnecting the Taiwan history which had been set aside for years as the effect of military dictatorship. You also don't know the true history of China because you learn only what CCP told you>

@steventruong9124 The 1947 ROC constitution did not include Taiwan because it was still a territory of Japan before 1951 peace treaty. Yes, it cannot be altered that's why ROC has the right to rake back China but PROC proclaimed in 1949 (Taiwan was still part of Japan) only claimed the territory of China by force. So, PROC's claim on Taiwan is illegal but ROC right on China remains unaltered.

@steventruong9124 Under the international law, the official document is based on 1951 peace treaty.
1
@steventruong9124 Yes, Chiang occupied Taiwan in 1949 as proxy of the USA, the occupying military government of all Japanese territories including Taiwan before the 1951 treaty.
1
@steventruong9124 Not true. Officially, Manchu Qing was also a colonizer of China. Taiwan was official annexed as part Qing in 1887 to 1895 which meant Qing had two colonies, China and Taiwan (only for 8 years despite not ruling the entire island). It was Japan which united the entire Taiwan as one central government for 50 years. So given the historical claim, Japan has more right than Qing (not China).
