  4. Sinicization was effectively enforced to use the imported language to the population since 1950's where people were fined into huge sum when a patrol military heard them speaking their dialect.

  6.  @袁大陸  It's because of historical background being the first government of China. It's also a historical fact that Taiwan is another territory outside China being permitted by Japan and USA for RoC government as refugee land. After many years, Taiwan has been ruled as a country by RoC government since Taiwan gained independence from Japan. Because of the unique historical fact, a Taiwanese citizen is officially written as RoC and not Chinese.

  9.  @袁大陸  The US assigned Chiang to receive the surrender within China, (excluding Manchuria), Formosa (Taiwan) and French Indo-China North of 16 degrees North latitude (Vietnam). Later Chiang failed to keep the positions losing to the communists. Chiang was lucky that the US and Japan agreed to permit Chiang to stay in Taiwan.

  11.  @袁大陸  Chinese history happened in China while Taiwan has its own unique history. While China had 50 years of wars and killing, TAiwan was a peaceful, progressive and rich state 1895-1950's.
