Nope. If races do not exist biologically, then no one would be able to tell is Whoopie Black or White. You need something objective to classify people into groups.
13
@EffequalsMA Yes you do. Distinction and discrimination are completely natural. Do you discriminate between fresh and spoiled milk, or between a thief and law abiding citizen ? In both cases you have something objective. So is with the races. If anything, history teaches us that different races are different, and multiracial societies are bound to fall .
10
@EffequalsMA You seem to lack comprehension of a simple truth : races are based on distinctive biological characteristics. They are objective category. When you comprehend that, we could discuss other matters.

In her stupidity "Caryn" told a fundamental truth. If Jews are White, than Hitler was not a racist. If Jews are non-White then lost of things that Hitler said make sense.
5
@ChocolateHabanero22 Good. You at least accept there is a ground for discrimination. Next step is to understand that this is not just "skin color" , it is a pretty significant difference in DNA. Than we could talk about the rest.
3
@jamespfp Well, completely wrong from genetic perspective. In fact, in modern times you could conclude lot about persons race and even "sub-race" (different groups among European Whites for example) just by taking simple DNA sample.
3
Things that most people do not understand is a simple fact that Blacks and Whites are divided and this happened thousands of years ago. Genetics is a destiny.
3
Well, if "races do not exist" as TIK claims, then she is right :D If races do exist then she is wrong, but "racist" are right :D Pick your poison :P
2
Wrong. Although leftist tend to call anyone they disagree a "racist" , original idea was to smear those believing that all biological races are not equal.

@TheImperatorKnight So ? Why would non-Catholic marry in Catholic church ? And what this had to do with race and Hitler ?
1
@revilo178 If you do not belong to Catholic Church, why do you want their blessing in marriage ?
1
@revilo178 Well, if you truly belong to a Catholic Church, and you respect and adhere to its teaching, then you should realize that proper Catholic wedding could be only between two person belonging to a Catholic Church. Otherwise it would be a fornication, i.e. sin, and church cannot condone and compromise with sin in a good faith.

@Nico-nh8db Sometimes you don't get what you deserve :P
1
@Nico-nh8db From Turkish perspective they did not commit genocide, but think that Armenians deserve it.
1
@jimsackmanbusinesscoaching1344 But they not recognize people outside of the Church as Christians :D Catch 22 :D
1
@jimsackmanbusinesscoaching1344 Obviously he did this on his own, as many Catholic priests in US tend to "bend the rules" in order to remain relevant. But traditionally, requirement is that both bride and groom belong to Catholic church.
1
@jimsackmanbusinesscoaching1344 "Validly baptized" means some church that is in communion with Catholic Church. Permission is usually a bishop.
1
@jamespfp Looks like you already have it :P
1
@jamespfp Usual answer would be three ( White, Black, Yellow) , but there are also numerically significant admixtures like Latinos (White and Yellow) , Semites - Arabs and Jews (Whites and Blacks) , Turkoids ( White and Yellow with admixture of Black) , plus some that realistically should be their own race (Dravids in India, Aboriginals in Australia etc ...) Not to mention various sub-races among major races. As with any other species , nature tends to diversify rather to unify. Humans are slowly evolving into two or three separate species.
1
@VT-mw2zb Well, nope. Certain genes are endemic for a specific group (most of the members have it) and very rare for other groups. When you have a multitude of genes that could be tested for a presence or absence, then you get pretty definitive answers . This the reason why Chinese are interested in "genetic ethnic weapon" - they are certain it could be made, unlike brainwashed "woke" Westerners who consider everyone "equal".
1
@VT-mw2zb Burden of proof is upon you, since you claim something that is ridiculous and opposite to established everyday facts.
1
@CantusTropus Foreigner could be a good man, but sometimes your two nations are at war and it is required from you to kill him even if you personally have nothing against him.
1
@johnschmidt1262 Actually, you are wrong . When you cross the border between Russia and China (or Japan) you will definitely notice a difference. When you cross Mediterranean you will notice the difference, and when you cross the Sahara desert you will notice the difference.
1
@johnschmidt1262 Noticeable differences in appearance stem from genetical differences. There are certain borders (political or physical) were you would notice sharp distinction, only you refuse to admit it. Overall, you are defending something indefensible in the name of PC and leftist-liberal ideology .
1
@johnschmidt1262 Please explain how would you differentiate between German shepherd and poodle ? Is it possible to write objective guide that would suffice for all kinds of aliens, or it would be completely subjective ? And since "ideal" or standard for German shepherd does exists, why would it be impossible to create it for human races ?
1
@johnschmidt1262 Actually, it is other way around. Before WW2 (and discovery of DNA), it was mostly external measuring (phenotype) that was used to determine race. This is obviously limited and flawed method, but it was all they had. Since those times technology has advanced. Today, for a reasonable fee, you could get pretty accurate genetic report about your ancestry. Of course, due to prevailing PC culture, such reports use "neutral" language like your ancestors were from such and such region, instead of mentioning race directly.
1
@johnschmidt1262 Well, nope. Regions are only used as euphemisms for a race and even sub-race. Overall, let's say that in last 20 years (perhaps even more) you could get pretty accurate reading of your ancestry. After all, this is a matter of statistics - if you have sufficient number of markers common for a given population, it is pretty large probability that person with these markers has some connection to that population. I'm not claiming that is 100% certain, but is getting close. As for prototype person - it does not work that way. Usually race as sub-species (or even separate species later) comes from genetic diversification of existing species. There is no ideal person of certain race in the past, but it may come in the future.

@miketaylor5212 Apparently some were :D There were Slavic formations on Axis side. Germans avoided using term "White", instead they mostly talked about "Germanic" blood, sometimes mentioned Aryans.
