@TIK went off rails again :) First of all, he declares his own morality as a law, to judge who is criminal or not. Then he declares USSR as a criminal organization. How about US, UK , France ? Or for that matter any other empire in the history ? after that, even Soviet communists (which were mostly Jewish in higher ranks at the beginning ) are now anti-Semitic :) And Marxism (invented by Jew) is anti-Semitic too. Then he applies convention from 1949 to events happening in 1944-47. Finally, he fails to recognize that Germans were not given status of POW, instead they were Disarmed Enemy Forces precisely to avoid Geneva convention. And in the end he fails to recognize that by Yalta agreements all combatants fighting against USSR were to be handed to Soviets after the war. This includes all nationalities, Germans before anyone else.

Large portions of the people deported were actively fighting on German side during WW2. On Eastern front. And mostly as anti-partisan forces.

Ever heard of Mccarthyism? US did not fall because of Soviet style communism, it was more of Frankfurt School coupled with general idea of "equality" which is unnatural.
5
@brucetucker4847 Tangible decline started in the 60's , we are now witnessing final acts of the drama.
4
@Tekisasubakani As I said, these people were either Soviet citizens or enemy combatants fighting on Eastern Front. Some of them both. And that is a whole story.
4
@awakeandwatching953 No it is not. Because they were not "murdered" . Some of them were sentenced to death penalty according to Soviet laws. Most of them spent few years in GULAG and were released. Also, bear in mind that lot of these "enemy combatants" were actually anti-partisan troops on Eastern front. You know what that means.

@16vjtdalfa Fake statistics. In reality, privately owned land (usually small patch around the house) in USSR was used intensively , usually for farmer's own needs and very little for the market. It did yield more crops then for example land in Kolkhoz, but this is mostly because it was used for vegetables, not for grain. Overall, socialist agriculture in USSR was less effective then private agriculture, but not that much.
3
@16vjtdalfa You wouldn't be getting 1000g of grain per sqm in USSR, not even close. On the other hand, gardening was national sport in USSR (so called six sotkas i.e. 600 sqm ) . Even urban population had small plots of land in countryside and these were intensively planted with all kinds of vegetables. Greenhouses were common.
3
Oh poor Germans... What did you ever do to deserve such harsh fate :P
3
@ivanpetrov6075 Slight problem, capitalistic Russia would probably end up with the same level of army like in First Chechen War, when "democrats" ruled.
3
@ivanpetrov6075 Nope, they were democrats supported by West. Army was far from standards of old Soviet Army. Equipment was still relatively good, but corruption, lack of motivation and ineptitude took heavy toll. Had Russia been capitalistic between two world wars, army would have been in even worse shape. They would lack equipment of the Red Army, and willingness to fight would be even worse.

XV SS Cossack Cavalry Corps . Very nice people :D
2
@3aToi4u I was trying to explain to them some simple facts, that this was not a fight between ideologies. For Soviet people it was simply fight to survive. And many soldiers in the Red Army did not like communism themselves. They were fighting for their people and their motherland.
2
@ladygrey7425 Amnesty International is Soros backed pressure group. Far from being impartial or some kind of moral standard.
2
@16vjtdalfa Nope. US numbers don't have anything to do with Russia and Russian climate and agricultural methods. US usually got better yields of grain (at least in 20th century) but considering vegetables private gardens in Russia were much better in yield then mass growing by US farmers.
2
I bet capitalistic soviet union would beat Germans in 3 months :D
2
Humans in general are mostly followers.
2
@garbageFreeFall So ? What is the conclusion ? Every human organization is now criminal ? :D
1
@Kriegter Well, don't get so triggered, it is only history :P
1
@Kriegter Well, I'm not a rifle, you know :)
1
@vandeheyeric You seem to be awfully hit and hurt by something that cannot shot straight :P
1
@vandeheyeric Well, you are obviously not drill instructor, and judging by your language and heaps of insult, you seem to be pretty hurt :D And as I said, don't be, it's just a history ;)
1
Did they told you what they were doing during WW2 ? ;)
1
@brucetucker4847 There is nothing to bet. US is finished. Demographically, economically, morally. Compare art, culture, leaders, even athletes in 1960's and now. It is obvious for all who are not blind. Only thing remaining to be seen is a damage done to the world by this doomed and failed empire while it collapses.
1
@brucetucker4847 :D That is the problem with you :D You count medals, dollars, empty things ... Once, long time ago, athletes were heroes, magicians ... Now they represent corporate and/or woke interests. They cannot motivate anyone except idiots to be even more stupid. You have inflation of medals just like you have inflation of dollars. But they are worthless.
1
Well, we do. Because your opinion what is wrong or right is not universal. In fact, even you could change your opinion and disagree with yourself in the past.
1
@hernerweisenberg7052 Nobody is talking to you, boy :P
1
@hernerweisenberg7052 Delusional disorder :P
1
@hernerweisenberg7052 Disrespectful = telling the truth . I intend to be disrespectful in the future, as much as I can ;)

@hernerweisenberg7052 Obnoxious kid, first learn how Youtube comments work ;) If you reply to someone's comment, then you will get notifications whenever someone else replies to same comment. @gandydancer9710 After the war survival rate in GULAG improved as more food became available. Roughest was the winter of 1945/46, after that practically all who were not executed survived. Stalin and Soviet leadership in general tended to preserve population much more (even GULAG population) due to catastrophic losses during the war. For Stalin, humans were resources and he started lacking that resource.
1
@gandydancer9710 Rest of you "human beings" could simply admit few billion people in your countries, with disregard about their citizenship 😁
1
@gandydancer9710 One of distinctive traits of humans is ability to think ;)
1
@gandydancer9710 If you are in, I'm definitely out 😁😆

@gandydancer9710 Yours is 😆😁😄

@heijimikata7181 Fighting partisans mostly involved killing civilians - that was German way of Bandenbekämpfung. Basically, these people were enemy combatants and citizens of USSR. US would have to break its own treaties with Soviet Union (major ally in WW2) to save German collaborators and war criminals. Note that US and UK in some cases actually did that (for example they saved Bandera and his ilk, despite numerous proofs of war crimes), but they could not just blanketly do that for anyone. Especially since the war vs Japan was still going on, and they did expect Soviet help with that.
1
@phann860 Soviet laws at that time were far more humane than US laws.
1
@novakjovanovic7715 Tell that to children being burned alive in Dresden.
1
So ? 2% of the population creates 100% of steel . Or 1% of population writes 100% of code . Etc ...
1
Brainwashing 101 for idiots. Yup, don't be loyal to your nation. Let others be loyal and subdue you .
1
We should return to good old days of unrestricted laissez-faire capitalism of 18th century :D
1
Shooting enemy POW rioters was common practice and was not considered a crime. Guards didn't have much other means to subdue them.
1
@colinhunt4057 What evidence do you want ? Everything I said is well known fact.
1
@colinhunt4057 Despotism = something that West does not like . Especially Epsteins of the world :P
1
Vlasov was an opportunist. He didn't have anything against Stalin and his purges while it benefited his rapid rise trough the ranks. Only after capture, to avoid harsh treatment in German POW camps, he started talking against Stalin and allowed to be used as a pawn. He knew fully well what Germans did and plan to do with Russian population. Like it or not, most Russians consider him as a traitor, even those who dislike USSR.
1
@gb4206 Well, why didn't he declare his opposition to Stalin while he was an Red Army officer (general) ? Why did he join Red Army at all if he was against communism ? Obviously, he was simply careerist and opportunist . Vlasov actually managed to find someone even worse for Russian people than Stalin (i.e. Hitler) to serve.
1
@gb4206 Yeah, very likely :D There is no evidence for that. He was just another ambitious and ruthless Stalinist general, ready to denounce his colleagues to advance himself (this is how he became commander of 99th rifle division before the war) . And during the war, especially during the battle of Moscow, he was one of the favorite Stalin's generals.
1
@tianwong152 Btw, Vlasov was for a time advisor in China, in the army of Chinese Nationalists (Chiang Kai-shek ) , but looks like he did something diplomatically inappropriate so he was sent back.
