  3.  @nemiw4429  BS 😁Axis had around 300 000 troops deployed in Yugoslavia, and these were not all Germans (Italians, Croats, Bulgarians etc ..) . Mostly second rate divisions, although at the end of the war they were regular German infantry divisions. Yugoslavia would have never sent troops to fight USSR , due to historical links between Serbs and Russians. Germans didn't ask for that anyway. Tripartite pact simply stipulated export of Yugoslav resources, and if necessary crossing of Yugoslav territory by Axis troops.

  4. I never understood why British forces, with superior tanks (Grant/Lee) . more infantry and artillery, and even air power, fled from motley collection of Germans and Italians.
