So what. Jurors have personal life experiences. That doesn't affect the verdict. It's her lawyers fault. They didn't reject the juror from serving. The juror isn't required to divulge personal information if not directly asked.

First they have to prove the juror lied to be on the jury. If they can't then it's not grounds.

They would have to be able to prove the juror lied to get on the jury first. If they can't this is just noise.

Β @niklaswallstrom6238Β they just have to prove he lied. If he filed a police report when the crime occurred and then he lied to the court then it could be a problem, if the lawyers asked and he lied. Now if they didn't ask the right questions that's different. If they didn't ask and he didn't tell that's different than lying to the court. They don't need to prove he was offended because he said he was on national television. If he said something different to the court then he was either lying on television, or lying to the court. If he just pushed it and went to the court and said he lied to the media because that's what the media wanted to hear then the court may try to prove one way or the other. All they can really do qould be attempt to prove he went to law enforcement or went to a hospital. Without that there really isn't anything they can do. I personally don't think anything will come of this.

If they can't prove the juror lied to be on the jury then it doesn't matter. It's not grounds for an appeal. This is just the media trying to sway public opinion. Bottom line if the lawyer didn't ask and didn't dismiss the junior and the junior didn't lie then it's all perfectly legal.
