  1. I personally believe the grandmother is the mastermind. I believe the grandmother coached the grandchild into testifying in hopes her father would be released. I genuinely don't feel the child should be in the custody of his mother. I feel the child should be in the custody of the victims parents. I think by default in these cases the victims parents should always have the first option to take custody of any minor children. If not the grandparents another close living relative of the victims family such a sibling. For multiple reasons. One if the minor children are with the perpetrators family they can never properly grieve for their lost parent, and two the parents of the perpetrator raised a perpetrator. It only stands to reason they are wholly unfit to raise children.
