  22.  @sophiashattuck1736  Plenty of people watch horror movies and crime shows yet never commit a crime. He owned a gun. Looking at ammo in itself isn't a reason for suspicion. Neither is watching videos or drawing a picture. Not by themselves. In hindsight the perspective is different because you are being presented with the evidence as evidence and as a whole. The people involved were only privileged to the isolated incidents which on their own could be explained away by someone who readily had an excuse. For example, say I'm watching a video on a school shooting. Did someone see him watching the video? Or was this an after the fact discovery by the prosecution after they took his phone? I'll give you the benefit of the doubt and say someone saw him watching a school shooter video. They walk up, what are you watching. Oh this video of that school. Horrible right? Yeah it was messed up. Yeah I'm just watching it so I can be better prepared if it ever happens to us. See how easy it is to explain it away? Then you have the bullets. Again we will give you the Bennington of the doubt and say someone saw him and this also isn't something found by the prosecution after tha fact. Oh you looking at bullets? Yeah, I'm going to go hunting with my dad. Parents ask, oh you looking at bullets. Yeah a friend invited me to target practice behind their house. OK honey be safe. The drawing. Did you draw this. Yes. Why? It's just a drawing of something I saw on tv. Parents to principal. See its just a drawing and you know he's never been a problem or been in trouble before. We don't see why he needs ro be sent home. Principal. Well. I guess you're right. Go back to class. Each incident on its own is nothing. Only all together and in hindsight does it mean anything. You're looking at it from a spectators perspective after the fact. How much of that was known due to the prosecutions discovery? Who knew what before the fact. At some point you have to stop letting the media weaponize your emotions for political gain and step back and view the situation logically.
