My memory may have some errors here, so I’ll speak in generalities. America has “been on the very threshold of successful (1) electric cars” since around 1910. And, as long as you’re willing to pay an exorbitant price for a short range vehicle, we have them. Similarly, American has been on the very threshold of successfully having (2) a flying car in every garage for about a half century since around 1946. Neither of those thresholds have been crossed. Electric cars today would be really impressive in a 1910 world. In the meantime, the hands down winner on every roadway in the world are the gasoline and Diesel engine vehicles. Nothing else comes close to the long string of successful vehicles on the world’s roads. Nothing. Courtesy of Half Vast Flying

@mallamal5578 G’day, Mall. I’m not familiar with ice cars. Tesla is the least-worst of the lot of the EV group. CAUTION: pray that the are no collisions. Especially one where any of the battery components are damaged. The fire is like a cutting torch, and cannot be extinguished. My best to you. Courtesy of Half Vast Flying

@mikafiltenborg7572 G’day, Mike. If I had to select an EV, I certainly would consider a Tesla. But, they still run on batteries. And, as the televangelists said, “Bring money!” Courtesy of Half Vast Flying

@mikafiltenborg7572 interestingly enough, the best selling motor vehicle is not electric. Nor is it a car. The Honda Cub/Super Cub motorcycle is by far the best selling motor vehicle in the world. Reached 100,000,000 in 2017. Courtesy of Half Vast Flying

@Maximus211DW G’day, Max. 😏

@stanleybuchan4610 BINGO! I’m a pilot, and on your first takeoff it is very apparent that not everyone who drives a car will fly a plane. To say nothing of the hundreds of midair collisions. Courtesy of Half Vast Flying
