  1. I had a DT-1 on Okinawa. When I bought it used, it had a loud piston slap. Three years later, when I sold it, the same piston slap was still there. Though the ignition system was about on par with a flintlock, the engine was very reliable. It was a fun bike. Courtesy of Half Vast Flying
