  2. Actually, the plant fibers don’t have to go through a digestive tract. Long fibers of grass, smashed roots, long pine needles, roughly chopped fibers from stinging nettles, etc will work too. But, using deer droppings can cure fingernail chewing. Courtesy of Half Vast Flying
