  2. It was a POLITICAL decision, not a logical decision to use corn. It takes more energy to produce corn based ethanol than it produces. Plus, fuel mileage is less with alcohol in the fuel.we use corn because of the strong corn lobby. Courtesy of Half Vast Flying
