  4. You might check out Benjamin Franklin's essay about when he went to sit in with the Seven Nations of the Iroquois. It's called "in regards to those savages" I believe. Also, Cabeza DaVaca's letter called La Resolution. It's basically his autobiographical account of his time with the natives.
