@gengoosekhan no. grima stabs Sharkey in the back after the Hobbits demand he and his foreign thugs leave. As an Istari, Sauroman doesn't 'die' though, but I think he can't return to Valinor. I'm not sure if I recall the next part correctly, but I think Sauroman was meant to be the disembodied evil in the LOTR sequel that Tolkien never got around to writing about Aragorn's son, Eldarion.

@gengoosekhan the blue wizards are some of the biggest mysteries in the Lord of the Rings. I would have loved it if Tolkien had introduced them, or at least named them.

@seriousbismuth2173 thats true. they did have their Maiar names. Knowing how much Tolkien liked the Arthurian Legends, I always wondered if the blue wizards might have been a reference to Merlin.
