The only thing that bothers me is that, if what she said was true, the person was j-walking. Where I live, there are certain groups of people who will just step out into traffic and expect cars going 40+ to just stop in the road for them. It drives me crazy. The entitlement is off the charts. I watched two women in hijabs walk a group of about 10 kids into traffic... no cross walk. No stop sign... just right out into traffic. And they got mad when people started honking. Not sure what happened here, but I am personally sick of people that due that.

@ninjagirl226 well, maybe that law needs to change. If you're going to walk into traffic, and someone hits you, you should have to pay for the damage to that person's car.

@ninjagirl226 that's fair. And I'm not seriously suggesting that. But I feel like the other extreme, where people literally step in front of moving cars and expect them to stop for them, is equally as dangerous. They could cause someone to swerve into oncoming traffic.
