When I was about 10 and broke my arm in half at school, I didn't feel pain or any emotion until the second my mother walked through the door. Then it was like a wall breaking. Brains are weird.

What bothers me is, had this story been inverse and 5 white 'teens' were treating a pregnant black nurse this exact same way, the narrative the media ran with would also have been completely inverted.

@Tavi Sigas after seeing them there, not paying for it, but not wanting others to have it either. If you aren't paying for it, it's not yours.. Is this actually a thing, where someone just claims some ethereal ownership of something they quit paying for? Why? Because they want it more? It would be more like someone was renting a car, but didn't want to pay for a day they weren't using, so they returned it and then freaked out when someone rented it cause 'they wants it'...

@Tavi Sigas seems like you're making this stuff up as you go along... but I recently found out that there is some sort of government subsidy for 'oppressed' people where they get free rides if the ride is less than 45 minutes, which would explain why he wanted to return it and then re-rent it... if I understand this right, he was actually trying to scam the tax payers that subsidized this program. If they can't be responsible with the forced charity, perhaps that program needs to end.

@Tavi Sigas because your ideas of 'social decorum' aren't laws or rules. Just your opinion on how people should behave. And I have a feeling that if this was a pregnant black nurse and the boys were white, the entire media narrative would be absolutely inverted, and those boys would be facing civil rights tribunals. Therefore, these notions of 'decorum' and 'standards' don't really matter to me, because I know they're simple sophistry and subject to flip on a whim.
