It isn't about 'unrealistic expectations'... they're just grown children that want to either steal or destroy things they see other people enjoying. They aren't jealous of the pixles. They're jealous of the enjoyment males get from something they can't understand. They're jealous of the attention men give these things.

  3. One of the main reasons the 'girl boss' trope falls so flat is because the writers never want to make them suffer. Vicarious trauma bonding is important in relating to a hero. That's why Sam Carter and Buffy don't feel like "girl bosses". We suffered along side them and watched them grow. And it's why Rey felt so forced.
