  2. It's all about the stats. They ignore the crimes so the stats don't highlight the failings of their policies. It started in public schools, where the collectivists started claiming that certain demographics were being punished more and asserted that was evidence if racism. So they literally stopped punishing people of those demographics (and punished others more harshly) so the numbers at the end of the month were 'equitable'. They think they can actually bend reality with these games.
