@Beauty_and_Light you're a dolt.

andrew zgoda so what do we call the people who were throwing molotovs at federal buildings? And when can I look forward to seeing that commission? Ah right... we won't, because the leftist authoritarians are taking a page out of their old playbook from the 20th century. Their crimes are 100x worse and completely excused by the leftist authoritarians. We can all see it, and I don't believe that you are blind enough to not see this (though feel free to continue pretending...)

andrew zgoda we did... for years. The left called it 'suppressing protest' yadayada... and I don't care about the 'muh Russia' crap, your boogeyman is not what it used to be. The left being completely and totally aligned with the CCP however, now that is worth an investigation or two. They have way more of a foot print when it comes to cyber propaganda, but commies stick together so the left keeps their lips tight.

@flea8332 America is a democratically representative constitutional republic. Not a democracy. Stop with that sad propaganda, the DNC won't won't run their own primary according to popular vote yet want the presidential election to operate as one... And from the side that thinks minorities are so inferior they can't even get an ID... not sure the left should be talking about 'destroying democracy' seeing as they have done just about everything they could to subvert election integrity.

@lindafoxx1659 I don't believe that. They are all for big government, which is inherently authoritarian. And now they support censorship, are anti-meritocracy. Perhaps you are confusing liberals with leftist? Although most aware liberals left the left a number of years ago.

@opynyensbattlerap3027 I've always held that if you are not intelligent enough to use punctuation, your opinions are not worth that much. Kind of like receiving criticism written in crayon, not worth the trouble.
3
@danielhicks1824 incorrect. The founders were aware of the failures of majority rule (democracy) and took great steps to ensure that was not the case here. Hence, we are a republic.

@flea8332 what delusion? Or are you some child who thinks they can win an argument by calling facts a 'delusion'?

andrew zgoda so "Mr. (Mrs?) Antifa... why is it that people who want to implement socialism nationally like to call those who do not wish to implement socialism nationally National Socialists?
2
andrew zgoda or maybe it's because the left has become openly socialist/marxist. They have the same oppressor/oppressed rhetoric that is the hallmark of all the 20th century collectivists. I don't care about the ridiculous economic dogma that the various forms of collectivism use to trick emotionally driven idiots to support them and allow those some idiots to pose as intellectuals. The left wants to massively expand the welfare state while opening the borders. If you want to have a conversation about something like negative income tax for low earning citizens, that's one thing... but if you hold the idea that you can import millions straight into the public coffers, then you are either a blind ideologue or a moron. And on top of this, they wish to disarm the citizens... name one good guy in all of history that disarmed the population, cause I can name a dozen off the top of my head and they were all evil people.

andrew zgoda I didn't see immigration mentioned in there. But as far as automation goes, people have been claiming that for a long time. A computer used to be a job title, then the PC was made and it created a lot more jobs than it cost, contrary to predictions of many promenant thinkers of the time. And if automation and technology advanced us to a post-scarcity society then sure, UBI might make sense. I think that may be an issue for our great grandchildren, not us. UBI will not work with mass, third world immigration though. If that really is a future you want, you will have to address the mass immigration, especially seeing as these low skilled jobs they are expected to fill will be the first to be erased due to automation. You can't simultaneously claim low skilled jobs are going to be automated while demanding the mass import of low skilled labor and expect things to work out.
