  1. I would play a game based on african history. You could be a bantu... and instead of missions you would just have a rape, murder and pillage sandbox.

  2.  @blank003  yeah, I get that. I actually really like native american folk lore, particularly the Choctaw stories. But european literature is miles above that. I'm just sick of everyone assuming that Europeans owe their stories and characters to other cultures, when those other cultures are perfectly capable of coming up with their own.

  6. @Bob ... the complaint is not that diversity exists... it's the rewriting of characters to fit an agenda. Some of my favorite shows are Dark Matter and Z Nation... where the lead protagonists are black woman. Great characters... original characters. however, making Triss Marigold black was f'in stupid. There is no need for it other than to appease the terminally woke.

  8.  @blank003  I would love to read some african fantasy or science fiction. Got any recommendations? What is the African version of Beowolf or the Arthurian legends? Is there an African Tolkien or Lovecraft? Can we make these into movies and make half the cast white? Sorry, that came off as more rude than intended... I got riled up in another thread.

  10.  @blank003  sure, but the ruling class/predominant cultures were not black if that's the implication. I mean there are the ancient alien and we wuz kangs theories but I'm pretty sure the Egyptians were not black or aliens. Horus would not have been depicted as what we would think of African.
