  1. Even King of the Hill did an episode about it... I personally don't think your race, gender should factor into admissions or hiring at all. The only thing that should matter is if you're a citizen or not. Citizens should get preferential treatment, but that's it.

  2. I was in the 'privileged' financial bracket... but my little sister applied after my parents divorce and claimed my mother as her guardian. My mother made little on paper... putting her in 'poverty'. So despite my father actually paying the bills, she got financial aid as if he didn't exist... So no... I'm not even sold on the financial crap. If anything, people that have grown up for 18 years on the tax payer should be less likely to get aid. Enough is enough.
