  5. My sympathy was tempered when I realized she was a raging leftist. Don't get me wrong, she was the victim, obviously. But at some point these people have to be able to connect their ideological dogma to reality and realize it doesn't fit.

  9.  @DarthPerkins  yeah. My city has them too. I actually know a guy who magnet fishes in the local rivers and finds them all the time. Sometimes whole, sometimes with the valuable components removed in what I can only imagine is the world's most pathetic chop shop. I think he can return them and get people accounts credited back or something. I'll ask next time I run into him.

  22. They weren't clowning for internet clout. They were trying to steal the bike from her, either to part out in some chop shop or just to trash, and planned on sticking her with the 1,200 dollar bill. She was coming off of a 12 hour shift that would have basically been rendered a financial loss. I wouldn't want to work 12 hour shifts just so some dull brains can steal it for a joy ride or 50 bucks. That's the kind of behavior that destroys civilizations.
