Kind of like the "black owned" or "women owned" tags on businesses. I have no problem shopping at either, but as the intention is to help people avoid white or male owned businesses, I feel obligated to be the counterweight...

Both are stupid. They just give you names, an incredibly basic description and sometimes clothes they were wearing. Sometimes a car model and plates. They realize we can send pictures over text now right?... perhaps a picture of the kids might be more useful than segregating the alerts... maybe? Also, perhaps sending it as an actual text might be better so people can double check the car plates and such if they happen to actually encounter it.

@Epyk4P you misread or misunderstood. I don't have a problem with black owned businesses, at all. But when they mark themselves as 'black owned', they do so because they want people to shop there over other places to 'support the cause'. I don't have a problem if people want to do that. My point is that I'm going to do the opposite to balance the scales.

@zimtak6418 I mean, they used to do it with milk cartons... pictures were kind of the point. I don't know how we got so much dumber.

@maxb2244 I'm sure they would, but that would just make me ask why they seem so hell-bent on an alert system that isn't nearly as effective as it could be. Perhaps it's a wolf in charge of the sheep's search party...

@mrspeigle1 pretty sure a mass text is just as fast as a push notification. Political campaigns send them to me all the time, with pictures and everything. Can't be that hard.

@FoxExcess exactly. Just because I want to patron businesses that don't promote their identitarianism doesn't mean I'm avoiding those that promote along identitarian lines. I'm just choosing to support one with my business instead of the other...
