  3. A hate hoax is still a hate crime in my opinion. Hate crimes are suppose to strike fear into a community to make them easier to control. A hate hoax has the same goal, or at least a very similar one. It's a crime against a demographic, not just an individual. And at this point, I assume every 'hate crime' that supports the narrative is a deceptively framed story or an outright lie.
