  1. Hoax. It has never happened because it can't happen. One would try to dominate or kill the other. I could believe the one about a kid locked in a room, though. But a kid unfamiliar with wolves or gorillas would get it wrong at first, and trigger some instinct in the animal. A kid who doesn't know how to sharpen sticks would be defenseless. A grown person who is educated on animal behaviors could develop a relationship with a pack of animals, but even then, the human is an outsider, and in constant danger. I imagine Tarzan was great fantasy 100 years ago, but c'mon, get real.
