  2. Count Dooku's origin is the Darth Jar Jar rewrites. Combine Count Dooku and Senator Jar Jar and there you have Darth Jar Jar. Except for the beheading. That was done to get rid of the stand-in after he served his purpose. Senator Jar Jar continued, and I would have gradually transitioned him into a less-lame Snoke-like character. As Palpatine's apprentice, he would have inherited the Empire.
