Not stereotyped.

Unstereotyped. Too many non-villain roles to qualify for the list.

Not always the villain, not always in horror.

Not stereotyped as a horror villain.

@dawnieangel76 It's a list of ten, and all ten in the list are more typecast as villains than Curry. It's not a list of favorites, it's a list of 10 actors typecast as horror villains. I'm no fanboy of this channel, but I'm not going to call them wrong when they did it right. Otherwise I've invalidated my own criticisms.

He's not always Chucky.

@Feburg His screen credits are diverse enough to say he's not typecast as a horror villain.
1
@Feburg Vincent Price has played more non-villains than the TEN actors in the list. Case closed.

No wait. This is one of the Dourif complainers. I'm getting this from both kinds of reactionaries, and I can't tell the two kinds of kneejerkers apart, not that I'm trying to... Same thing, though. Brad Dourif has played more non-villains than the TEN actors in the list have. Maybe combined. It's not a list of favorite horror villains, it's a list of actors stereotyped as horror villains. Don't you realize you're insulting Dourif by expecting to see him in a list of stereotyped actors?

In many horror movies. Rarely as the villain.

@cliffpadilla5871 No, he's Manson. Manson had bullshit "justifications" too. Most serial killers do. The office workers on the merry-go-round died from somebody else's test. What's heroic about that?

Not stereotyped as a villain.

Not stereotyped. He coulfd play villains, but he wasn't limited to that.
1
Not really. He plays great villains, but his protagonist roles outnumber them. Sometimes he's the hero, sometimes he's the victim, sometimes he's the audience surrogate. Or a mix of those things. Dr Robetrt Morgan was the protagonist in I Am Legend, who turned out to be the unintentional villain. If he didn't mean to be the villain, it doesn't count.
