  2. That little carry-everywhere stand that Macron has to use, is the very one (I've seen it in a Paris museum) that Napoleon had to use to see above his troops. Amazing that Macron could get the use of it - a nod to history I suppose.

  3. You'd almost think Russia was feeding ridiculous stories to the DOD and the BBC to get them both to repeat, to parrot, obvious nonsense - such that they discredit themselves. Slick way to destroy your opponent's propaganda credibility. Sort of like getting the enemy to spike their own guns. Nice.
