We're now seeing the results of basing planning on a made up cartoon version of an adversary. Putin couldn't ask for better allies than the MSM – or the UK Ministry of Defense, planting false and "comforting" stories.

Turn around - as the Ukrainian situation continues - look behind you, it's bigger - the West is being drained of military hardware, their economies are tanking, they are showing disunity and their world wide reputation and power is plummetting. Why would Russia stop this spiral?
