  1. NYT says Russian weapons are no good as they only caused 19 deaths - sadly NYT is thinking in terms of US strategy - that of maximum shock and awe and civilian deaths - the US measure of sucess. That's not Russia's way - they strike key infrastructure with precison weapons to keep collateral damage down.

  6. I suspect targetted infrastructure attacks until the first frosts - then debilitating infrastructure attacks including the Kiev airport and then a wholesale invasion.

  7. The West and the NYT are desperately trying to explain events in terms of their own propaganda - NYT: we say Russia is weak, disorganized, has poor weapons and is losing. Now, how do we wrestle current events into a version to match those givens? And not appear like idiots. It's getting hard.
