  4. The Bahkmut offensive has been pushing for 5 months now with very lopsided losses due to forced human wave attacks. Foddering. I have a couple friends who defended severodonetsk a few months back. They held a chokepoint where a main road was. An approximately 30 man group(some days 5 or 10 less due to combat losses). They held the intersection for around 10 days. They had 2 mortar teams , multiple machine gun nests with pre sighted crossfire , a shit ton of RPG'S , NLAW's and a couple grenade launchers. Here is the point of this . The russians tried to take this intersection 6 days in a row. They artillery everything for a half hour or so. Then the guns go quiet(er) and the advance starts. They just marched forward into withering crossfire. Body after body Marching forward like zombies. No attempts to leapfrog with suppressive fire or any observable tactics. They didn't even twitch when something blew up next to them. They must have been drugged. Even battle hardened soldiers flinch when a mortar round pops a meter away. They came at the same time every day 6 days in a row. Never changed tactics. Lost over 100-150 men easily each time and on one particular day almost 50 BMP'S and 6 tanks ... This by 20 to 30 men . With only a few casualties. RIP brothers🙏 After 6 days of artillery and meatgrinding orcs. There was nothing left to defend. They took a couple street blocks and the team movedcback a few blocks.
