  22.  @elinoamrichter162  There is nothing hypothetical about 'The Individual Shared Responsibility Payment' that forced working people who could not afford healthcare for themselves or their dependents, to pay a tax penalty for every month that they did not have the healthcare that they could not afford ( 'Minimum Essential Coverage' ). Do you understand the above statement? It is FACTUAL, not hypothetical. _____________________________________ The US has a significantly higher amount of budget dedicated to healthcare than any other country and yet still offers no affordable public healthcare… EXACTLY. ACTUAL and VERY REAL taxpayers have to fund healthcare and every other welfare benefit, that they oftentimes cannot afford to provide for themselves. _____________________________________ I will put this in terms that anyone who can speak/read English will understand: Jack works for a living and has 25% of his income taken away, which makes it even more difficult for him to feed/clothe/house his family of four (wife & two children). Jill, the woman that lives next-door to Jack, has two children and is pregnant with a third. Even though she does not work and has no husband, she is not concerned because 100% of her life is provided for by taxpayers like Jack. In fact, rather than making her life the slightest bit difficult or being a financial stress/burden, the new bastard will actually increase the amount of welfare that she receives. Jack and his wife/children have to do without, so that Jill and her bastard children want for nothing. Feel free to justify that.
