Canada and the US have a oil pipeline thats 2000 miles long that delivers 90,million barrels day . A barrel is 42 gallons. Would a water pipeline like that help the south west? I live between Lake Huron and Superior we get lots of snow and rain to help top things up and water flows down from northern Canada to the great lakes everyday.

@kidkanji5295 True The US largest Iron ore supply come from Wisconsin by ship. You can't supply ore to Gary Works, in Gary, Indiana, on the shore of Lake Michigan by truck or train. Its the largest steel mill in North America. Plus GL shipping goes to the Atlantic east coast. South west mess to have farms and large cities in a desert.

@InfernosReaper I live in Canada and can see Lake Superior from my living room window , It raining hard right now , makes it hard to get into a water shortage video.

The SouthWest was alway a aird place. It never was meant to sustain high populations , just like the Sahara Desert. Humans did their tricks to manipulate rivers and now they're running out of tricks. Michigan is a Huge State with endless water with only 11 million people.

@dmannevada5981 The South west idiot idea to farm and have large cities in a desert. The south west was a desert before Columbus came to America.

@opossumlvr1023 I was not sure if it is because in water terms 3700 million gallons a day would just to change things for the south west anyways. They could use low maintenance stainless steel pipes.

@InfernosReaper And many US states.

@sentientflower7891 No I boat on the Great lakes and run into both the American and Canadian coast guard. They can not operate in international water. Even on a Great lakes map you see the US/Canada borderline printed right on the body of the lake.
