So every person 47 years old and younger never was even born during the last moon landing. That's 2/3 of the world's population. A entire generation only got to see a earth hugging space station. That is sad progress.

Like baking. Sure people can bake a cake at home but it's cheaper and quicker to buy them at the store.
28
That sound sophisticated for a plane from the 1930s .
13
It's been 50 years since the last moon landing. There are more people on earth today that never seen a moon landing than the people who did. Mars will be in 200 years at this rate.
9
@MrT------5743 Oh don,t worry have you not heard we will see a Mars landing soon. LOL We did not get see a moon landing in our generation but we did see William Shatner break into orbit for 2 minutes.
4
There dream of living under communism did come true. If north Vietnam had lost they would be living like South Korea today and not like the North Korean dream.
4
The N1 was what you did not want to do. No Saturn V blew up on lunch . All the N1s did.
4
The world would look like a middle east country that had no western inventions shipped over to them in the last 150 years. The last thing they invented was that invisible man they worship 4 times a day and that was 1,500 years ago.
4
@Jan_Strzelecki Agreed. Like a 30 ton T-34 tank could cross a snow field that a person would be up to their waist if they walked across it.
4
So why did the Russians invite Neil for a parade in Moscow? Why would the USSR in a cold war back up a American fake moon landing?
3
Crazy to think a 48 year old person was not born when the last moon landing happened. More people on the Earth today never were alive than were alive on the last moon landing.
3
So the Russian had a parade for Neil Armstrong in Moscow to help America's fake moon landing story during a Cold War?
3
I think once the US built the A-Bomb the Germans would have lost even if they were winning or no Merlin was ever invented. The bomber and escorts transporting the Bomb would just use Pratt & Whitney's double wasps instead of Merlins.
2
I guess if the Germans were into Aircraft Carriers they already had a dive bomber for them .
2
The Chances of America still being a British colony is as much as Canada, Australia, India and Hong Kong still being a colony, which is nil.
2
We would be on World War 4 by now if there was no nukes.
2
You can see the space station with binoculars .
2
We have to go to the moon for the 5 billion people who were not born when the last moon trip happened. No wonder some people do not believe we went to the moon.
2
@wilburfinnigan2142 The bomb was built in 1945 when there was no German air force left to dog fight with. A few Hundred P-47 with drop tanks still can give a dozen Me-109s a hard time.
2
I thought the same thing This guy never heard of a Electronic Fuel Injection? or EFI for short or spark plugs. Are we suppose to hand crack them to start then like a model- T ford? Even a Diesel needs electric glow plug help on cold start ups. Most modern diesel vehicles use fuel injectors to meter and inject fuel directly into the cylinders. This requires a fuel pump and a method to meter the timing. Both of these are controlled by electricity produced within the vehicle

War of 1812, evacuation of Washington, surrender of Detroit. White House set on fire by British.
2
Crazy to think a 48 year old person was not born when the last moon landing happened. More people on the Earth today never were alive than were alive on the last moon landing. It will be 100 more years before a smart phone is on the moon.
2
To be fair if the Merlin was not invented I'm sure the 2000 hp Pratt & Whitney R-2800-8 of the F4 Corsair , P-47 Thunderbolt , HellCat or The Napier Sabre of the Typhoon and Tempest or The Allison V-1710 turbo of the P-38 lightning would have done the job until the A-Bomb was online.
2
It was a Nuclear bomber , we use ICBMs that come down from orbit with multiple warheads. Those are impossible to intercept.
2
Alot? Try 80% of the war in Europe was the Eastern Front.
2
Its launch in 1988 was well known it was no secret .

Inline 6 cylinders in parallel. That works.

#3 Non-electrical Item? The combustible motor relies on electricity , how else would it get spark if it had no CDI, alternator, EFI or glow plugs for Diesel and a battery to turn them all over to get them started?. In North America gasoline motors out numbers Diesels in cars and pickup trucks vastly. At a service station with 6 pumps maybe one will be for diesel cars.
1
I think that happened after this video so that is why there is no mention of it.
1
@mekhane.broken9678 The US alone had twice Germany's population in 1940 and 3 times their manufacturing capacity. On paper the US alone could have 3 Germany's for years. The UK and US were never losing even if Russia fell.
1
No matter what the A-Bomb was coming in 1945 and these side show weapons would all be removed from center stage with the war coming to a screeching end.
1
Because they were the only country during a major war who had nuclear weapons. You do not think Germany, USSR or Japan would have used them in WW2 if they knew how to make them?
1
@stophrussiannazis If a country during the last major war (WW2) would have used the A-Bomb if they had them. The US did not us the bomb in Korea when only the Russians had very few and the US had many.
1
What if the two people who made up the religion of Christianity and Islam died at birth.
1
No medical inventions like Plasma or Penicillin also.
1

1
Have to wonder how much that large unretractable landing gear slowed down the Stuka in level flight and fuel consumption ..
1
@charlesm127 When they searched through defeated Germany at the end of the war they found Germany was not even close to having a A-Bomb.
1
I call a rocker with twice the thrust of the Saturn V getting in low orbit a success. The Russian N1 never left the pad without blowing up ,in comparison.
1
The both destroy a large city.
1
The Russians shure like to copy, Space Shuttle, B-29, C-47/DC-3, .
1
It does not help that anyone younger than 47 years old was not born when the last moon landing took place. This mean more people are on the earth today who did not witness a moon landing than people who do remember the last moon landing.
1
Great now some country will think they can win a nuclear war.
1
The Canadians cancel the ARROW yet buy 250 F-104s which 53% crashed in peacetime? A enemy would be happy if it could shoot 53% down. Hard to believe Canada and Germany did not ground them long before 30-50 percent crashed. Today they would ground planes if 5% crashed.
1
Here is the problem,. There are many more people on the earth that were not born before the last moon landing. If you were born on the day of the last moon landing you would be 47 years old!! Might be time to return for good old times sake , before a entire generation is born and dies without seeing a moon landing. A half a century was a long enough time to take a break you would think?
