  9. If the scots wanted independence they just had to vote for it in 2014. South Ireland had to fight and bomb for 800 years to get it. We got lucky in Canada the British just kind of gave independence to us over time without much of a fuss and we even liked the British unlike India.

  10. Like a small country like Germany was going to take over the US. The US had the manufacturing  capacity , manpower and resources to beat 3 Germanys.The US built more aircraft (370,000) then Germany, Russia and Britain combined during the war.

  11. The US was in a super power class on it's own http://www.combinedfleet.com/economic.htm  Italy ,Spain would make no difference . Fallen France and Britain sure was not going to help the Germans. In fact occupying those countries would divert German Man power to even less. The US would of also had the resources of Canada and Australia if Britain fell. Sooner or later the Russians would also get involved.  Compared to the US Germany is considered small.

  12. Germany tried  and did not complete  to build one aircraft carrier . The US built 30 between 1942 and the end of the war in 1945 and had a 4 year monopoly on the A-Bomb. All I was saying is Britain did not save the US from (small to us ) Germany  in the battle of Britain.
