  2. Tell that to South Koreans when North Korea invaded and almost won before the US arrived and pushed the communist back over the border. Many starving North Koreans today wishing China did not save North Korea on the other hand.

  8. The South Koreans look at life in North Korea and are happy the US did not lose that war. North Korea almost had all of South Korea before the US pushed them back out. The US pushed too far and got China involved was the mistake.

  11. When I see those days I picture young people driving 69 Dodge Chargers,Mustangs and GTOs and going to see Janis Joplin,The Who and CCR at Woodstock. It looked like great times to be young.

  13. Hardly. The US lost 2,300 soldiers in 20 years and almost never had more than 3000 troops stationed in Afghanistan at one time. The Afghan army did most of the heavy fighting. US Drones killed more Taliban than foot soldier did.
