  4. LNG is the only way to ship gas without pipelines. Only Norway and Russia pipelined gas to Europe. So yes there should be fleets of LNG ships going to Europe.

  7. Plus if the US and China were at war it would be a ICBM exchange targeting cities , the Navy would play little part in it once the Intercontinental Ballistic Missile Submarines launched their payloads at cities.

Russia in 1945 took over Albania, Bulgaria, Czechoslovakia, Hungary, East Germany, Poland, Romania Yugoslavia.Estonia, Latvia and Lithuania. The USSR went broke trying to keep controlling them. Russia was not doing great before the invasion, they can not afford a long occupation.
