  8. You needed more than Britain .France and Germany to be a WORLD war in 1939. That's a European War even Russia was not involved yet. 1937 with only China and Japan is sure not a World war. Dec 11th 1941 was the start of a real world war . That's when Germany declared war on the US and after Pearl Harbour was attacked by Japan and Russia was invaded. Calling it a World war without the US fighting Germany or Japan is not right.

  18.  @dragosstanciu9866  It was a different world also when the communist Stalin took all of Eastern Europe as well. Germany was heading east not west when Britain declared war. The US was never in any threat from a invasion from Germany or any country.

  19.  @dragosstanciu9866  Once Hitler invaded the Russia he would have no time and resources to for west Europe. If Germany beat Russia ,France and Britain would have been strengthen. Germany and west Europe would have had a cold war like we did when Stalin took East Europe instead. Remember Germany is a small country of only 70 million in 1940. Hard for them to occupy all of Europe and Russia at once.
