  1. Because no Country on earth could go to war against the US, UK and USSR all at once and hope to win. Basically Germany was fighting 6 other Germanys when you factor Manpower, resources and manufacturing capacity.   The US alone had twice Germany's population , 5 times their resources and 4x their manufacturing capacity.

  4. So many reason, they are hard to count but here are two.#1 Declaring war on the US. In 1944 the States built 96,000 airplanes while the Germans built 36,000.  That's not counting the 35,000 planes the Russian made and the 26,000 the Brits made that year. a 157,000 planes will beat 36,000 planes every time.so Math lost the war for Germany. #2 The States built the A-bomb 4 years before any other country would build one.  A country with nukes will always beat a country without nukes.   9. Back then it was because the US navy was larger than all the world navies put together and you need to cross oceans to get to the US unless the invasion is from Canada or Mexico South America. Today the US still has the largest navy but with so many ICBMs it would be suicide to invade the US today.

  11. After 1943 the Russians were  out producing Britain and Germany and had the largest land army in the world. Even before the German invasion  the Russians had more troops and tanks than Germany which came to a shock to the Germans.Yes you can call it a Major player.

  12. Finland put up a great fight but was overwhelmed at the end by the Russians and had to give up territory. The Russians built 56,000 T-34 tanks during the war more than the Germans built and held back the Germans at Moscow in Nov 1941 well before lend lease was in effect. The UK still had a empire and largest navy in the world before the War.That only changed after the war when they became a secondary bankrupt power vs the US and Russia,

  13. Just saying  before the war the UK was a top dog. Lend least was happing in Russia but in a small scale until months after the US entered the war.  Point being Germany took on the UK, USSR and the US all at once , 6 Germanys would be needed to beat those resources and man power.
