  9.  @NewtonInDaHouseYo  Can be done but at a much higher transport cost. Most of Ukraine wheat goes to poor countries. Same reason North America does not supply Europe with Natural gas ,because the transport cost are much higher.

Russia runs out of food and gas and the country they are invading is right next door. Imagine if IRAQ was located where Canada or Mexico is? It would have taken one week.

  13.  @kishanchali8752  I bet Russia has not had many casualties. The side fighting for their country are willing to suffer casualties. Remember the 1979-89 USSR invasion of Afghanistan that broke the USSR? Russia will have its breaking point.

  17. G2- Why would they care if it got invaded if not many Russians lived there? It acting as a buffer is good enough. If they did go to war and won they would get it back. Lack of resources? One glance could tell a person it had Lumber,Fish and freshwater before even mentioning mining. Just sitting there cost Russia nothing it's not like they had to pay land taxes or mow the lawn.

  21. The empire would of lasted a little longer but WW2 broke Briton at the end. Briton declared war on Germany for invading Poland.  The sad part was Poland was took over by the Russians instead at the end of WW2 so the "save Poland plan" failed at the end anyways.
