Russia lost 5 million more soldiers in ww2 than the losing side and Germany had to fight on 2 other fronts. Even when Russia wins they lose .

When I see a Russia flag over the capital of Ukraine. Putin declared Kherson a Russian city 12 months ago and had to retreat out of it 10 months ago . Funny way of winning .

@tubthump People being invaded do not care about losses like the invading side . Ukraine loses their country disappears. Russia loses it just another failed land grab like 1979-89 Afghanistan .

Ukrainians are doing all the fighting they just want weapons. The 300,000 Afghan Army had weapons and they threw them on the ground and fled when the 70,000 Taliban entered after the West left . If the people of Afghanistan do not care why should the rest of the world ?

My comparison would be England in Southern Ireland . Hope Russia does not take 800 years to leave . Afghanistan took 10 years 1979-89 to get the USSR out .

@eddieB-8 I read Putin's 5000 word essay he wrote in 2021 called. ON THE HISTORICAL UNITY OF RUSSIANS AND UKRAINIANS Putin himself wrote that all 100% of Ukraine belongs to Russia and Ukraine is not even a country . So taking 20% of the country after 17 months is a massive failure .

@eddieB-8 My country Canada in ww2 raised a fighting force of 1.2 million with a population of only 14 million people . Ukraine has 40 million people , Ukraine will not be running out of soldiers anytime soon. . Defenders have more motivation than invaders .

That's why Putin declared Kherson a Russian city 12 months ago and had to retreat out of it 10 months ago . A so called superpower with one of it's cities occupied for 10 months says it all . The US would not let a US small town be occupied for 10 hours before doing something about it .

@donaldtrumplover2254 The Frontline moved a lot after the late 2022 summer Ukraine offensive . Just that Russia moved the wrong way .

@tubthump This will turn out like when the USSR in 1979-89 invaded Afghanistan and finally went bankrupt and collapsed. 40 million Ukrainian do not want to be part of Russia or ever will. 145 million Russians do not care about a Putin's land grab.
