  37. True D-Day was held off as long as possible so Russia would be bleed out. D-Day just made sure we got a part of Germany , the outcome of the war was already decided after Kursk in 1943.

  39.  @warzik5910  KEY (1 million Soldiers After D-Day) once France un-surrendered. By this late stage Germany was beaten and the Russian were on their way to Berlin. From 1940 to June 6th 1944 France was a non-Issue.

  41. Good point. The US out manufactured Russia and Germany combined in WW2. That was never going to change even if Russia and Germany teamed up. The US navy would still be the largest in the world like in our timeline.

  45. No they attacked Canada first to take it over from the British busy fighting Napoleon in Europe. At the end of the war they gained nothing of Canada and had to get Detroit handed back to them in the treaty.

  47. The Russian lost 10 million soldiers compared to UK and the US who only lost 500,000 each. The US air force was 5 times the size of Russia,s and France was back in the war. US military production was twice that of Russia's. Russia was not pushing the US. UK and France out of Europe even without the A-Bomb. The side that controls the air controls the war.
