  5.  @kae2678  There is nothing Cheaper than Natural Gas in Canada Electric heat is the most expensive ,followed by fuel oil ,even wood is over $100 a cord in Canada.

  11.  @kae2678  I only know about Canada heating cost. I use to heat a house with a airtight wood stove . it need 15 cords (Maple) to run all winter from Dec to April. My gas bill in winter is average $200 per month , so wood was $500 more a winter.
