  9. With long range nukes a country does not even need a military. As if the USA ,EU ,Russia and China ever went to war with each other that they would be using Tanks, Planes and Soldiers like it WW2. The H-Bomb and ICBMs ended those days like the car replaced the horse.

  16.  @tobiasbauer198  What do you mean a bad idea? I rented a apartment years ago and the landlord never paid the gas bill so the gas company shut the gas off in our -20c winter. I open the electric range over door and set it at 450F and was warm and toasty until the gas came back on in two days.

  17.  @tobiasbauer198  Germany is find with oil. No special terminals needed for oil tankers like LNG ships. Germany has lots of coal (6th largest coal reserves in the world) it may be time to use it again.

  31.  @recoil53  Lots of people do not realize The US does not get much oil from the middle east anymore. I think its 12% now. Canada and Mexico are the top exporters to the US for awhile now. I think Canada is like 50% of their imported oil.
