A Ohio sub has 22 Trident II , so just one Submarine has the power of 586 Hiroshima attacks. And the US has 14 Ohio subs, then you move to land launch Minuteman IIIs with 3 (w78) warheads at 350 Kiloton each. That is 70 Hiroshima in one ICBM. Of which there is 100 ready stand by Minuteman IIIs. Thats 700 Hiroshima attacks. Then you have the mobile 134A Midgetman ICBMs with (w61) 300 Kiloton warheads. It will be awhile Yet before M.A.D becomes obsolete.

  24. The Tokyo raids killed as many or more than  Hiroshima and Nagasaki . What is the difference of hundreds of B-29s making multiple trips with conventional bombs vs one B-29 with one A-Bomb doing one trip? Killing is killing and dead is dead.
