The US alone out manufactured both Russia and Germany combined in WW2. The US navy and Airforce was larger than the rest of the worlds combined. Than the US had that 4 year monopoly of the A-Bomb.

@johnny5wd567 All the best Nuclear Scientist fled Germany in the 30s for their lives and worked on the Manhattan , Project.Like today , and the the close of WW2 , the US economy would just maintain the largest navy in the world where Germany and Russia could not even get close to North America.

@bryandavies6074 "Operation Baragation" Never gets tha fame of the smaller 'Operation Overlord" (D-Day). The Soviet Union inflicted the biggest defeat in German military history by destroying 28 out of 34 divisions of Army Group Centre and completely shattered the German front line. It was the fifth deadliest campaign on the European war scene, killing around 450,000 soldiers.
