  3. Only works with weak developed countries. The US and Japan debt to China is USA $1.063 trillion, and Japan's $1.260 trillion. Even if they stopped paying on the debt they would never give land to China. Many companies were taken over in a revolution without notice. Foreign investment is risky. A new government can just take a Chinese own harbor in its country if they want to.
