Repressing the people who knew no difference and born into the USSR is different than Younger Russians use to world travel ,shopping and communication having it all removed.

In the more expensive Occupation the US lost 5000 soldiers. There is no winning for Russia in the Ukraine ,just the second coming of the USSR cold war way of life. Even Russia Ukraines are resisting in the east.and not going back to the Iron Curtain lifestyle.

Its been over 3 weeks. The US had Saddam Hussein living in a dirt hole in 2 weeks when they invaded IRAQ. Isaq had a larger military than Ukraine. What this taught Nato is they can just cut back on military spending.

The 1979-1989 Russian invasion of Afghanistan was much larger. The US never planed to make IRAQ part of the USA and stay forever like Putin.

@nunesv5882 Those Iron Curtain warsaw pact USSR countries are now Nato/EU members for a reason. In the world wide of things Russia is nothing . If it was not for nukes Nato would steam roll into Moscow and feed Putin to the Russian people.

Putin will try to put in a puppet government like Belarus. Even the Russian Ukraines are resisting in the east. They are not going back to the USSR lifestyle. Russia has a brain drain going on right now in Finland, before the Iron Curtain closed again.
