  1. There's nothing wrong with having a majorly male or female group of characters, as long as one doesn't spring up some sort of condescending message via making the opposite sex an opposing group, AKA all being villains. It's really eyebrow-raising in that regard.

  2. I really don't think those condescending little snip out scenes of from Pacific Rim were necessary... like, at all. Not everyone that dislikes this trope, acknowledges the fact that males can be represented just as bad as women, nor dislikes Rey is a misogynistic incel piece of shit, but besides that, the rest is spot on, there is far too much focus on making strong female characters into hyper masculine dweebs, except if a male is in the same position, they're punished for it in some way, but for women its different, since women getting hurt on-screen is so strictly taboo, you then end up having a completely unlikeable individual who happens to be female.
